If I came with a bible in one hand and a rifle in the other, knocked on your door, and said: according to my bible, my family lived in your home two thousand years ago, would you pack up your bags and leave?

from Matthew’s gospel:

“Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judaea, during the time when Herod was king. Soon afterwards, some men who studied the stars came from the east to Jerusalem and asked, ‘Where is the baby born to be the king of the Jews? We saw his star when it came up in the east, and we have come to worship him.’” [2:1-2]

“… they left, and on their way they saw the same star they had seen in the east. When they saw it, how happy they were, what joy was theirs! It went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. They went into the house, and when they saw the child with his mother Mary, they knelt down and worshipped him.” [2:9-11]

In reality, what the astrologers from the east saw was not star, but a UFO!

Whoever refuses to work is not allowed to eat. ... we hear that there are some people among you who live lazy lives and who do nothing except meddle in other people’s business. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we command these people and warn them to lead orderly lives and work to earn their own living.

How much longer will you forget me, LORD? For ever?
How much longer will you hide yourself from me?
How long must I endure trouble?
How long will sorrow fill my heart day and night?
How long will my enemies triumph over me?

“The LORD said, ‘A day is coming when Israel’s greatness will come to an end, and its wealth will be replaced by poverty. Israel will be like a field where the corn has been cut and harvested, as desolate as a field in the valley of Rephaim when it has been picked bare. Only a few people will survive, and Israel will be like an olive-tree from which all the olives have been picked except two or three at the very top, or a few that are left on the lower branches. I, the LORD God of Israel, have spoken.’”

Why Pork is Haram in Islam - 15 Things You Should Know About Pigs

"He has made unlawful for you that which dies of itself and blood and the flesh of swine and that on which the name of any other than Allah has been invoked. But he who is driven by necessity, being neither disobedient nor exceeding the limit, then surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful." Quran 2:173

I cannot understand why anyone would eat it. You might as well vacuum all day and then take the vacuum bag and make a nice soup out of it.

Of course our Creator has given us the health laws through the Holy Quran and not eating pigs is even CLEARLY mentioned in the Bible (Leviticus 11:07)

But some humans think they are more intelligent than the Creator so they choose

Muslims appear to believe that Islam’s prohibition against eating pork can be scientifically proved, without any contradiction. The arguments in this Tumblr post only serve as an absurd justification, needless to say.

While the tumblelogger sister-fathima says “not eating pigs is even CLEARLY mentioned in the Bible,” she seems to be ignorant about the new testament. What did Jesus say? “Don’t you understand? Nothing that goes into a person from the outside can really make him unclean, because it does not go into his heart but into his stomach and then goes on out of the body. ... It is what comes out of a person that makes him unclean. For from the inside, from a person’s heart, come the evil ideas which lead him to do immoral things...” (Mark 7:18-21) For this reason Jesus abolished the traditional rules on food. Listen, if you have ears!

“The fourth question of Fatwa no. 4246

Q 4: Is it permissible for under-aged girls to go out without wearing Hijab (veil) or to offer Salah (Prayer) without putting on Khimar (veil covering to the waist)?

A: It is Wajib (obligatory) on their Wali (a legally responsible person for bringing up children i.e. their father, mother, grandfather and so on) to educate them about the etiquettes of Islam. They have to be enjoined to cover their `Awrah (parts of the body that must be covered in public) whenever they go out. The foregoing is a means of avoiding temptation and acquainting the under-aged girls with good manners so that they do not become a reason for the spread of corruption. Besides, the Wali of the under-aged girls should enjoin them to put on Khimar whenever they perform Salah. However, if they do not do so; their Salah is still valid. Proof of the foregoing is a Hadeeth in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Allah does not accept the prayer of a menstruant (i.e., an adult woman) unless (she covers her head) with a Khimar. (Related by Al-Tirmidhi)”

Young Girls and Hijab - When does Hijab become obligatory when going out and during Salah? (via simplicity is all we need.)

Reading the above Q&A, I have a question about what Muslims, including women, often claim: the notion that Islam represses women is a prejudice against our religion. The teaching of Muhammad on prayer is based on an ancient superstition that menstruant females are unclean. Islamic scholars would justify this view by quoting the Genesis story on the origin of sin: it was Eve, a woman, who was deceived by the snake and tempted Adam into disobedience to the God. Every woman is unclean and sinful due to her religious origin, and not eligible for God’s deliverance. If she, however, repents and submits herself to the laws of God, she will be saved - because Allah is merciful and gracious. Too patriarchal, no room for debate.
